Javier Huaman and his family (Familia Huaman & Chávez) serve as dedicated missionaries in Peru, specifically ministering in the Lurín and Punta Negra areas near Lima. Their family-centered approach to ministry reflects a biblical vision of believers serving the Lord together, with each family member contributing their unique gifts to the gospel work.

Church planting and establishment ministry in this district of Lima. The church in Lurín celebrated its 15th anniversary, demonstrating the Lord's faithfulness over many years of ministry.

Punta Negra

Newer church planting effort currently in the "sowing" phase, with discipleship, evangelism, and community outreach building the foundation for a thriving congregation.

Church Vision & Strategy

The church in Lurín is entering a significant season of strengthening and strategic development. Under Javier's leadership, the congregation is moving toward three key goals: deepening discipleship, planting new churches, and sending missionaries. The church recognizes that its central mission includes not only evangelizing the lost but "giving birth"—that is, planting new congregations and supporting missionary workers.

"Our prayer is that Lurín becomes a missionary epicenter—a church known not only for evangelism but for raising up and sending out workers who plant churches, train leaders, and reach unreached areas. We believe the church must reproduce itself generationally and geographically."

Currently, the church is supporting two missionaries and making strategic efforts to establish ministry in Punta Negra. This vision reflects a biblical understanding that healthy churches multiply themselves through evangelism, discipleship, and sending.

Community & Social Ministry

Beyond formal teaching, the church practices community engagement through sports and social events. Volleyball games and community gatherings provide natural opportunities for evangelism and fellowship. Church members invite friends and family who are not yet believers, creating platforms to share the gospel in relational, non-threatening contexts. These events combine spiritual purpose with genuine hospitality and joy.
