Wilson Maungo

Pastor Wilson Maungo is the founding pastor and leader of Independent Gospel Missions of Kenya (IGM Kenya), a ministry he established in 1992 in western Kenya. Based in Kitale, Kenya, Pastor Wilson has dedicated over three decades to spreading the Gospel and training the next generation of Christian leaders in East Africa.

Recognizing the need for solid biblical training in the western region of Kenya, Pastor Wilson founded Independent Gospel Missions College (IGMC) in 2008. The college, located on an eight-acre campus in Bungoma, Kenya, stands firmly on the fundamentals of the Christian faith and is committed to training fervent preachers of the Word of God. Under his continued leadership, IGMC offers certificate and diploma programs for students seeking deeper study of the Scriptures.

Since its founding, the college has prepared hundreds of men and women for faithful service as pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists, educators, and dedicated lay members in churches. The ministry's influence has extended beyond Kenya's borders, with believers from other nations coming to IGMC to prepare for Christian service in their own countries.

Pastor Wilson's vision centers on glorifying God by equipping faithful servants who are committed to full-time ministry or lay service in their local churches. His work focuses on Christ-centered, Bible-based training that develops each student to their full God-given potential.
